Microwave Contamination
Hi all. I’ve been gluten free for a year. Have a very severe allergic reaction to gluten, wheat, grains, etc. I have epipens and am hospitalized most times. There have been a handful of incidents now with microwaving my gluten free food at work and then having a reaction, though thankfully a less severe one.
My doctor suggested it was that other people are heating allergens in the microwave before me and that I stop using it, which I have, but I have no other means of heating food at work which really sucks.
If anyone else has had this issue, is there a proper way to clean the microwave or air it out so that it’s still usable?
TLDR - My work microwave is contaminating my food.
