2018 SR5 Driver and Right Rear Passenger Floor Moisture
For a while now I’ve had a musty smell in the truck come and go, typically after heavy rains, but I could never figure out why.
I went through a car wash today and as I was removing the all weather floor mats to clean them I found this mold/mildew under the driver and right rear passenger floor mats. The driver side carpet was damp but I could not feel any moisture under the passenger mats.
Most other posts about this could trace it back to having a sunroof issues, roof rack, rear brake light seal recall, or AC drain line. I have a 2018 SR5, no sunroof, no roof rack, and the my VIN did not show as being affected by the rear bed light seal recall. Also, there is no moisture under the front passenger floor mat indicating it wouldn’t be an AC drain line clog (as an understand it)
Anyone else have this issues and successfully resolve it?
