Hey yall, stoked for the new venue but wondering if anyone has any experience with the fairground area. In HSMF years past, we’ve always camped in Shady Grove, or for the year we only did two days, I’ve found a spot for my van right along the side of the road in Quincy which was an easy walk in to the venue.

This year I’m coming out for Saturday only, which doesn’t include any camping passes, and have no idea what the “outside of the fairgrounds” parking looks like.

Does anyone have any recs on where to park a van for one overnight stay? A place that is walkable to the venue. Feel free to DM me if you don’t want to blow up your spot on Reddit.

My husband owns Bomb Footbags and has been working around the clock to get more bags made. I’ve been trying to update his social media (he’s really bad at it haha), so just came on here to answer all the questions he’s been inundated with. He’s had the business for over 20 years, back when he was a high schooler who listened to the Dead and kicked bags around. A very chill dude finding himself in the middle of a very not-chill craze :)

It’s a one-man business, so this new viral trend has him scrambling and trying to answer every email while shipping every single bag he has in stock. He’s hired some friends to help get packages out quickly. Because he doesn’t want to make himself crazy, and doesn’t want to disappoint customers, he’ll be doing daily drops with as many bags as he can pack in one day. He’s hoping for somewhere between 5-6pm PST every day. Any bag you order tonight will go out tomorrow, from CA, so shipping times will depend on where you live via USPS ground (we’re guessing like 3-5 days).

Right now wholesale orders feel impossible, but if you shoot him an email, he can get you on a list for a custom bag that possibly could happen later in the summer.

Also. About every other DM is someone who started a Hacky Sack Club and wants to rep free bags, we’re talking 100 DM/emails daily hoping for something free. We’re not trying to ignore any messages, but paying customers are the priority for the limited numbers of Footbags that he has in stock, sorry.
