I've been on Effexor for about 8-9 month and was trying dose off it and switch to Pristiq (so 112.5 Effexor and 50 mg Pristiq for about a month) when I noticed everything started tasting weird or no taste at all and dry mouth. I decided to get off Pristiq and stay on Effexor. I had no taste issues with Effexor. It's been 6 days and the dry mouth has gotten a little better but the taste has not come back. I'm worried--has this happened to anyone else? And did your taste come back to normal and how long did it take?
