Taking the in-laws camping this summer (they have a trailer, wife and I have a sprinter). And we all ride. They are comfortable with blue flow, chill tech. I’d love some more variety but also fine with cruising with them for the tip.

Would love some suggestions as for areas to camp in central ca/sierras. We live in Santa Cruz so that’s off the list as it’s our locals.

Wife and I are already doing a mammoth trip, northstar trip, and downieville this summer so count those out.

Places that come to mind are Nevada city, Bear valley area, dodge ridge area, possibly SLO.

Edit - I have the locking hitch pins but thieves have figured out how to pop them off with minimal effort.

Have a 1up with their cheap af locking mechanism and there has been a rash of racks being stolen from local lots.

What motorcycle style chain/lock are people locking their racks to their hitch with when riding? I see a ton of options, some way more expensive than others.
