New General practitioner

I'm looking for advice.

I have an appointment at a new doctors office soon and am looking for advice on what questions I may ask and what signs I should look for to make sure he is a good fit.

I had the same experience as a lot of women had with doctors. I was dismissed; told everything was psychosomatic; I am just sensitive; ignored.

After years of searching, I found a general practitioner/family doctor who took me seriously and who was very competent.

Unfortunately, he died a few months ago. Because I don't want to search for a new one when I'm actually sick, I'm looking for a new one now.

Because of my former experiences, I'm very anxious about doctors in general.

I honestly don't have the strength to go for a years long search of a doctor that treats me with respect.

I have a "getting to know each other"-appointment in 10 days. Usually, I can trust my gut feeling, but I'm concerned my anxiety around doctors could get in the way...

Every time I try to prepare and think of questions and behaviour to look out for, my mind just goes blanc.

What could be some questions I should ask?

What are some green flags to look out for?

What are some red ones?

I feel it's extra difficult, as I'm not going there for treatment of something urgent.

(Obligatory, sorry for bad English.. I hope I articulated somewhat understandable)
