My daughter is reading Eye of the World, and I have been following along for what will be my Nth time. She is on the chapter "The Long Chase". Nynaeve is preparing to head out to go cut the horse lines to help rescue Perrin and Egwene. Lan has warned her there are wolves about, and that the wolves seemed to have wanted to be seen. I quote:

"Now that she was alone in the darkness, she remembered that the wolves that usually ran away from people had been behaving differently in the Two Rivers this winter."

Of course the Two Rivers wolves were behaving differently. They were looking for the one who could talk to them. And keeping an eye on Shadowkiller of course.

Another fun one of course just a few chapters later, The Web Tightens, by everyone's friend Gawyn. "I wish we could have come to know one another, Rand Al Thor. Fare you well." The last words spoken to Rand by Gawyn.

What is your favorite meaningless line on the first read that means so much more on a reread?
