I remember this game from my childhood that for the life of me I cannot remember. It was an incredibly linear game where you play as a non-customizable (I believe) character with a motherlike dragon that you have a sort of psychic bond with iirc. The dragon, to my memory, is depicted as a female and I think there are sections where you can control her. The game is linear with no class system, involving some platforming elements along with combat elements.

I am sorry for all the vague descriptions as my memory of this game is rather hazy and I am not entirely sure if it wasn't just a string of dreams. Any and all help towards identifying this game would be greatly appreciated.
