Honestly dont really want to get rid of just yet, and I wasnt planning to get a new one just as immediately. Any suggestions would help.
Spent about 13-16k in March and got registration renewed for the next 5yrr.
Initially my father was driving the car, now I drive it. Absolutely love the engine.

From 79kg at the age of 29, to 64kg at the age of 33.

I didnt see any major change for about 18 months of starting to ride. Also, it was my fault, I was scared to get cramps, so I used to drink coke or have some dessert or pastry every 20km I used to do.
But then the weight did get reduced to about 72-73kg eventually .
Then i started having only chana or black gram with fruits and salads during lunch for an entire summer. The weight further got reduced to 69kg.
Did about 50-60km, or about 150-200km of ride every week for a year.
Started endurance rides, doing 200-300k, just for fun, no goals.
But one thing stayed constant, I did used to push hard no matter the distance, because we all love speed. Ofcourse, the body gives up after a point, and the avg speed gets reduced but used to push hard almost more than 70% of the ride.
Safe to say that that, I am riding a 20kg mtb, and can do 24+kmph for 100k and over 20kmph for 300+km.
No one motivated me, Always preferred riding alone. Didnt even know how big was the cycling community or what are the different types of bikes.
Back in my teenage, montra-firefox were the premium segment bikes and treks-scott were for pros imo. But things and opinions have changed since.

The most and least expensive accessory from my bike.

FRONT LIGHTS

  1. Towild CL600 - Cycletimeindia - 2400rs
  2. Towild BR1000 + Wireless remote - Cycletimeindia - 3700+900rs

REAR LIGHT
Generic battery operated light from NinetyOne - 279rs (the least expensive thing on my bike)

A small comprehensive review.

Talking about CL600, its good. But its a unibody design with integrated battery. As the device heats up on prolonged use, the battery looses its life over time, and the battery life got down from 6-2.5hrs in 6-8months of use. I still use it as a substitute.

BR1000, however has a removable 18650 rechargeable battery. So even if it looses its life, you can get 18650 batteries online or offline for between 50-150rs depending upon capacity(mah).

The rear light however, absolutely beast, when used with duracell. It runs for about 2-3months with 2 AAA battery on normal use. And has great visibility. I've used it on rides where I need to run it for 12-15hrs straight and it keeps on working fine. Only drawback is that, it is not waterproof, has a poor waterseal, but wont save the device from crazy downpour. Im on my 3rd unit now. One got bad after a crazy storm, while i parked the bike under rain while the light was still working, and another time, I just hosed it down after a muddy ride. (mybad IK).
But yeah... thats about it.

Both the front lights are 100% waterproof with type C charging BTW.

PS this is not a paid promotion, I've used all of these for over 20000km.

My worst 100 in terms of speed. But enjoyed the exploration ride!

in my defense, 52km was state highway, and the rest was gravel + block pattern streets. And i stopped at our native village for 1hr15min to have mid ride meal and get some rest due to burning heat.
Peed once, had 6L of hydration.

Anyone who've tried this route? I know a lot of biker groups go through this. But how safe is it for solo? or families? Specially the one through Rani.

From negative -7° with 80mm reach to -35° with 60mm reach.

PS. ignore the headset seal, it barely stays in place. And i've ridden more than 5000km with the seal expanded out of the steer tube.
