Lane was encouraging Rory and Dean's affair?

I've thought about this a few times over the years. Rory and Dean sleep together and then she talks to Lane about it and they're like gossiping little school girls but I feel like Lane wouldn't have been encouraging it. I mean despite hiding the rock and roll, and eating habits from mama Kim she has shown that she's still believing in the religion's core beliefs. She may not be as strict as her mother is but she still follows the main rules right? Like she fully waits until marriage... her OWN marriage! It just bugs me that she didn't have any sort of moral dilemma when Rory is casually talking about one of the big rules being broken. It just always felt at least a little out of character for her to not object at all to this illicit affair that Rory has with Dean.

(was forced to go to church all my childhood so I'm very familiar with Christianity and the rules but no judgement at all for fellow atheists)

Edit: a lot of comments are saying Lane isn't a judgemental person, but simply giving feedback isn't necessarily being judgemental. She could be supportive while also questioning someone's choices like 'I don't think this is a good idea.' without making accusations or telling her she'll burn in hell. She can be a moral compass to help direct Rory into a more positive direction, she doesn't have to be judgemental or even harsh about it.
