[TOMT][MUSIC][2002-2008?] Spent years trying to find a rap song from a mixtape...
This has been driving me insane for years. Years.
There's not a whole lot I could tell you but I'll just list them in bullet points below:
• I really want to say it featured Black Wallstreet/maybe just the Game.
• It also had at least 3 maybe 4 other rappers with verses on it.
• The closest other song I could attribute the beat to would be renegade by Jay z and Eminem.
• I feel like I've listened to every alchemist, dj ski, new jerzey devil beat on earth as it sounds very much like their type of beat. No luck though.
• I've listened to as many Black Wall Street mixtapes as I can and none of them have the song.
• I can't remember exact lyrics but there's a few pieces that I remember:
"you frontin homie pause that// let me take you OT(?) where my pops took his loss at//
"my brother died on the dime(?) block// so I ride with my 9 cocked hide(?) in a pine box(?)//
The chorus features a line from I believe the game where he's kind of saying "yeaa dont wear the wrong colors \[homie\], thats what they doin round heere"
