Questions on Trade Centers
Hi all, I’ve been really enjoying the new mechanics for trade and merchant marines in this new update as a bigger nation, but found myself struggling quite a bit more as a smaller nation (especially since with the new Interests mechanic I couldn’t just latch onto Great Britain’s market). So I just had a few questions:
- How do trade centers actually make money? I’ve had employment fluctuate pretty drastically, tanking my economy, forcing me to practically always subsidize them. Any advice for keeping them in the black?
- Is overland trade completely gone? As Bavaria I had a shortage of merchant marines and had zero trade without transit rights. Nothing from the three neighboring empires.
- How much does the change in Interests affect imports and exports from distant areas? For example, as Uruguay, will Britain ever ship any coal to me?
