Tier list of the 8 books I've read after picking reading back up this year (8/10)

I'm really proud of myself! I started reading because i felt obliged to(new years resolution), but now, i read just for the sake of reading. It's become a comfort hobby now. Hyperion was my gateway, and House of Leaves is my all time favorite right now. Reading Don Quixote (1 chapter every night, it's like watching an episode of a comedy show before bed!) and fellowship of the ring (really enjoying it) right now.

I'd love to discuss these books in the comments if anyone wants to!

Stuck between a rock and a hard place

I'm about to enter university, and I just feel like there's no degree that can give me peace of mind. I'd love to get some pointers on how I could maximize my chances and make the best of my situation.

For context, I'm an intl student in an aus high school. Parents wanted me to come here because they wanted the best for me, and they expect me to be able to get PR or citizenship through this path. Evidently not the best path, but I'm trying to make do with what i have. After living here for a few years, I've also decided i want to stay here. What degree/actions can i take inorder to achieve this? I've read so many of the posts, it's helpful, but most of the people here are experienced workers so it doesn't really apply to my situation. (or maybe it does?)

Any advice or questions are welcome, thank you!
