Anua skincare causing breakouts?

Anua skincare causing breakouts?

So I bought the glass skin starter kit a week ago and have been using it religiously, the serum AM and PM, cleansers only at night and I also started using the medicube triple collagen cream AM. I noticed my skin was very glowy at first, like the glass skin they promised if you will, but now after using it the full week I’ve noticed some breakouts on my right cheek and forehead. I tend to sleep on my right side so I thought maybe that’s why I only have breakouts on that side, but why now and not before? And what about the forehead? I’ve seen a few posts describing this same problem specially with the anua serum. Do you guys know if this is some kind of purge? or just a bad reaction. I don’t want to suspend it specially since I’ve only used the routine for a week but idk if it’ll get any better over time. Could it be the medicube cream? The breakouts are mostly blackheads and comedones, they appear daily, new lesions that weren’t there before.

Edit: ty all for making me realize that just cause the products are sold as bundle for a skincare routine it doesn’t necessarily mean you have to start using them all at once. I’ve suspended the serum and the medicube cream and I’m sticking to the cleansers for now since I’ve already used them before. I’ll reintroduce the serum once my skin clears and make an update for people interested, probably in a week or two.

Btw I have normal skin but it tends to get dry at times (I live in cold weather), I don’t think it’s exactly acne-prone since I only get the occasional pimple if I eat greasy foods or around my period but it is sensitive and I’ve had allergic reactions to skincare products before. My main target with the kit was my pores since they’re kinda big around my nose and cheek area.

RA patients in healthcare

I’m a MD and I remember a post a while ago about having RA and being in healthcare. I wanted to make a post about any tips and tricks you have for physicians, nurses, orderlies, etc. I’m specially looking for good shoes for long standing times.

Here are some things that work for me:

  1. Compressions socks. Can’t shut up about them, my feet don’t get as tired and I can definitely last more time on my feet
  2. Sitting down and stretching every hour even if it’s just for a few seconds
  3. Having a full stomach and empty bladder. I try to tend to my necessities so I have energy and don’t feel worse because of other things.

Excited to read y’all!

Social vaping

What do you guys think about quitting meaning not buying more vapes but consuming from a friend’s vape ocasionally. I know with addiction you’re supposed to quit entirely, but I think in my case a hit here and there during a night out won’t hurt. What do you guys think? Should I be trying to quit entirely? Do you guys still vape in social settings?

I’m quitting today period

So I’ve been vaping for like 10 years and only till recently one of my doctors directly told me I needed to quit because of some health issues that worsen with nicotine.

I love vaping, I find comfort in it, I think it feels good. I’ve been doing it every day, all day, in every place for many years, it’s part of my routine and my life.

So quitting sounds challenging and I’m going cold turkey from today on. I already have cravings and I woke up only 2 hours ago lol.

I’m trying my best to stay occupied so I don’t think about it but I would like something to replace like the “putting something in your mouth” part.

I’ve heard about drinking water and Chewing gum but that honestly does nothing for me lol. Do you guys have any advice on stuff that worked for you? Also general advice on quitting, since I’m an addict addict I’m open to ANYTHING that can get me out of this
