CA Final Nov 2026 Both groups or Group 1?
I’m really confused about whether I should attempt both groups or focus only on Group 1.
I have around 2.5 months left. I originally planned to give both groups in January, but because of the change in exam schedule, my attempt got preponed to November.
G1: Around 70% completed, but I haven’t revised properly and currently feel like I’ve forgotten a lot.
G2: I’m currently doing it. PGBP, CG, IFOS, MAT/AMT and DTAA are done. DT is self-study and ongoing. GST hasn’t been touched yet and classes aren’t complete.
I really wanted to give both groups, but I’m scared that trying to complete G2 now will compromise G1, and I really want to clear at least one group this attempt.
I was also thinking of doing G2 strategically/basic level so that I can potentially benefit from set-off, but I’m not sure if that’s actually a good strategy.
Should I continue both for now and decide later based on my progress, or just focus on G1 and make sure I clear it?
Would really appreciate advice from people who’ve been in a similar situation.
