Repair assessment.
Hi,
My car was parked and a bus hit it. Car is Toyota Auris hybrid 2016 model. It got a damage at rare quarter panel. Bus insurance will be covering the repair cost.
Toyota suggested that repair will be cutting the damaged section and fitting in new section with welding and then blending the paint.
My question: Is this a normal repair and I should accept it with the fact that it will significantly reduce the value of my car after repair.
Do people buy a car with such repair or it will be difficult to sell it again?
