I’ve been stalking award stays for the Thompson Palm Springs which so happens to be during Palm Springs Pride and I definitely got my highest redemption value at 7.88 cents per point (50k points for 2 nights). I would never pay $2k/night for a hotel and understand it’s significantly higher due to circumstances, but it’s still a win. I also have a guest of honor attached so I’m looking forward to the start of a vacation in Palm Springs. Anything I should expect at this property out of the norm for a GOH stay?

Originally had Grand Hyatt Indian Wells booked, but I wanted a hotel closer to downtown Palm Springs for the walkability.
