Is there a list of notable active separatist movements in modern day Altera? I imagine that maybe the Society of Nations would try and not have more countries created or maybe they do encourage sovereignty for all people groups?

With this timeline having over 1,000 countries, how do so many countries like those in New Guinea or the Caucasus do international relations or survive while being very clustered together? Do they have a shared currency with neighboring countries or have unions like the EU?
