Why do you love BSJ and JMH?

It took me a bit of effort initially to understand and appreciate what Tipper is doing with his various releases. I knew it was great, I just wasn’t sure why. As I’ve gone through this process of becoming familiar with his music, I’ve found some albums more approachable than others.

Fathoms EP has the most wurgly gurglies, forward escape is like a dmt trip in music form, I find myself listening to insolito and now cloaked the most.

Cloaked seems like he purposely was aiming for a bit more commercial album with more recognizable snare sounds for example. But it’s so good, and a more approachable daily listener than say…forward escape (imo) which has a definite trippy direction.

For some reason I’ve struggled a bit to get into JMH and BSJ, but the more I listen to Tipper and “tipper-like” music, the more I’m drawn to these 2 albums. They both have the trippy vibe with such a different range of vibes and sounds.

These 2 albums seem to have a huge love amongst his fans more than any other, so I’m curious why are they special to you? Especially for the fans who were around when these albums were released.

Parkbreezy turntable 6/6/26

Parkbreezy now cemented in my top 5.

I love electronic performers who have mastered production, as well as dj techniques.

Dude knows how to control the sound really well live, and adapt to different performance conditions.

His sound design is very solid, well developed and tasteful, he has great sample selection taste and a great ear for making music. I can tell he just loves making music, and has spent thousands of hours mastering the craft.

I recently got Anki for learning Spanish, and I am trying to adjust the settings to how I want.

I want 30 new “flashcards” a day, and to repeatedly and randomly cycle through these questions as many times as I want, regardless of it it’s correct or not.

No matter my setting, I am met with “congratulations, you have finished this deck for now.” After 20 questions.

What am I missing on my settings?

I posted a screenshot.
