Hi there

I'm getting a coeliac bloods done at my GP in about a week and just wondering what kind of symptoms folk were having prior to diagnosis and whether mines sounds like coeliac potentially

I do have Crohn's which complicates things and I am working in a high pressure callcentre job so stress is rampant which complicates things but nothings improved over the last few years regardless

Symptoms I've been having

-alternating diarrhea and constipation with urgency on some days usually loose movements

-skin issues rashes that have been persistent and won't heal last few years

-bloating is a major one every few days regardless I seem to be extremely bloated person at work says I look like I've gained weight when it happens recent months it's almost daily

-Coughing or passing up phlegm/mucus and gas symptoms

-Tiredness even if I have slept adequately

-stomach grumbles and trapped air at times

Is there any tips or guidelines prior to the bloods I am consuming gluten as instructed

I got Crohn's and for the last few months I've been struggling with thin stools that are tricky to pass sometimes accompanied with belly pain groans and awful bloating - I've been getting this pattern. Consistently since February ussually occuring every few days at a time

I had a siegmoidscopy recently in Feb that showed patchy inflammation and have been on steroids meds a few times in the past - I take weekly adamilulab injections for current meds

I've been trying different diets increasing water, supplements exercise you name it but can't seem to find relief

Im UK based and have talked to a few nurses on the helpline they just keep prescribing constipation meds which just makes the symptoms worse,

I am wondering what I could ask the doc help with it, I was thinking a scan to check for strictures

Also wondering if there is any home remedies to assist until then
