I have two uppers (8.5" 300Blk suppressed and 11.5" in 5.56) that share one lower. Somehow it magically spawned another and now I have two complete guns.
Total mystery, and a complete coincidence that the same lower was on sale the other day.
I use 20rd mags for 300Blk and 30rd mags for 5.56 to avoid cross-contamination. How do you separate yours?

It easily holds a 2kg weight, but of course the weight isn't thrashing and doesn't have spines or teeth lol. Hopefully I can hook a fish this weekend in order to test it out!

I am by no means someone who can't accept criticism, but the lowest possible rating without any explanation devastated me. I've had some constructive feedback and enjoy such things immensely, but this was different. It had me questioning my entire existence for a moment.

I eventually decided to submit a support ticket to see if anything could be done. Within *two minutes* of submitting the ticket a moderator reviewed the case, found the rating suspicious, removed it, and blocked the user from rating or reviewing my fiction.

I'm sure others have experienced this kind of thing as well, got any stories? Did you get it taken care of like this?
Had some fun teaching my boy how to make an arrow today. The rougher, earlier attempt is from a few months ago. I've definitely improved, just need to get better at making the heads! Both fly well, but the new one is clearly superior.
I used turkey feather and synthetic sinew for both, but I used proper pine pitch glue on the new one instead of just melted pine sap. The first shaft is a maple branch and the second is a cutting from my hedge and I have no idea what type of wood it is lol

My original cover was finger-painted by me then 'enhanced' with ai (🤢) in order to have *something* to post with my story, but it still felt gross. It was the only way that ai was or ever will be associated with my story, and it's great to finally be free of it!
Not one argument I have heard in favor of closed primaries holds any water with me. It's just another beaurecratic obstacle in support of the corrupt two-party status quo. Yes, I could change my registration as I please in order to vote in primaries. But if I can do that, what the fuck is the point of a closed primary in the first place??

I have a great respect for people who can bring life to visual media in ways that I simply cannot. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but I find that I get a lot more mileage out of a thousand words than an equal amount of time spent doodling with my finger on my phone.
It is entertaining, though. I wish RR had a gallery to upload images associated with a story so I could include these for my readers' amusement.
