Currently stuck on what to do.

I’m fairly newish to firearms, wanted to actually get into the hobby a bit. My only experiences are slapping uppers and lowers together, some range time, call of duty, YouTube, and chat gpt. I wanted to create an assortment (not a huge collection, but almost like a “one for every situation” type of deal) but sadly can only really do a budget set.

I have a sw3 dagger, a 5.56 PSA “16 upper on a PSA AR lower (with a Ocl polonium k can otw), and an AR-12. I also have a pistol brace lower.

Where I’m stuck at is whether I should get an 11.5 5.56 upper, or a “(tba) 300blk upper. Ik that .300 builds are a lil more finicky than 5.56 due to subs and supers(or at least that’s what I’ve gathered).

My third option is to just buy a complete PSA pistol.

Basically my question is, what would yall do? Build a PSA 5.56 arp? Or throw together a .300 blk arp? Buy a complete budget PSA arp?

I know some people would suggest just spending more money but sadly this is what I have to work with.

That being said, I do want a mixtape, so that also plays into the reason why I haven’t just gone and purchased a .300 upper.

Thanks for any advice 🙏

Shipping Protection Scam

Per title - anyone else had shipping protection snuck in during checkout? I placed an order on PSA’s site and specifically unchecked “shipping protection” in my cart. When I went to check out the total looked correct but after the item shipped I checked my receipt and a ~$10 charge for “shipping protection” was added. Pretty scummy since you’d have to expand the cart to see this charge added. The gun is at my FFL now and will cost me $50 to return ship it from them, so kinda SOL here. PSA said they can’t alter orders unless they’re cancelled or RMA’d, which is obviously untrue since they can do blem credits and other sale adjustments.

PSA - why do you even offer this scam? It’s your responsibility to deliver merchandise to the consumer in the correct condition - full stop. Especially serialized items which have criminal charges involved for theft. I can understand the use case for porch pirate prone areas where PSA would NOT be responsible for theft - but why is it the default and why is it available for serialized items?

PSA is a great company with a great mission and it sucks that such a minute detail makes you look like money grubbing scammers.

Really excited about these lowers and hopefully will be purchasing a couple more. Got them in within 2 days of ordering. For 99$ I can’t complain.

Micro Daggar won't disassemble after Trigger Group replacement Please Help!

I recently attempted to replace my Micro Dagger's trigger after the trigger pin fell out at the range about 100 rounds into the session, and I was told that it is a fairly common failure point on the pistol.

I purchased a replacement trigger assembly from NDZ Performance Parts, specifically the "GLOCK 43 TRIGGER WITH BAR ASSEMBLY SP33362 9MM" and "GLOCK 42 43 43X 48 TRIGGER STOP CONTROL HOUSING SP33228," and inserted the pieces following AT3 Tactical's video "How To Upgrade Your PSA Micro Dagger Trigger: Easy Installation Tutorial - Glock 43x, Glock 48," but something has clearly gone wrong.

I can rack the pistol normally; the slide lock engages. However, there is no click when the trigger is pulled; it just feels like a sponge. When I pull the trigger, the slide wiggles a bit side to side along the rails. And when I attempt to disassemble the pistol, the slide does not want to release.

I can see that the firing pin is fully recessed into the slide. I don't believe it is in the half cock position, and definitely is not in the fully expressed/fired position.

The trigger appears to be misaligned, preventing it from properly pulling and releasing the striker, which is keeping me from disassembling the pistol and accessing the internals. Is there any workaround to force the pistol open? And do any of you know what may have gone wrong with the trigger to cause this?

(the pins are removed in this picture as I thought thier removal could help me free the slide I know they are supposed other be in the holes)

Sopmod or SBA3? Based on looks not legality.

SBR'd so either works. 11.5" what do you think looks better as a whole? The Sopmod is approx .5" longer but width is identicle. Slop/play negligable between them.

Sabre Lock Up Rail - Thoughts on Serviceability?

I have a PSA rifle, which at the time of ordering I was unaware of this, comes with a sabre lock up rail.

Does anyone know how to remove the rail? I found a proprietary tool on their website, but not sure if it is the correct one. Link attached.

Any info/videos/input would be super helpful!

Anyone else have their lowers perform spontaneous mitosis during sales?

I have two uppers (8.5" 300Blk suppressed and 11.5" in 5.56) that share one lower. Somehow it magically spawned another and now I have two complete guns.

Total mystery, and a complete coincidence that the same lower was on sale the other day.

I use 20rd mags for 300Blk and 30rd mags for 5.56 to avoid cross-contamination. How do you separate yours?

PSA JAKL chambering issues

Has anyone had issues when chambering their JAKL? I have a 300BO and i notice I have to slingshot the charging handle forward to get the bolt into battery. Anyone else have this issue, if so how did you fix it?
