Anyone else suffering a series of minor unfortunate events lately?

So idk about y'all, but I have been suffering minor unfortunate events lately. I tried to fix a 2DS I bought off eBay, ended up accidentally tearing the speaker off, and ripping the ribbon cable for the screen. The backup screen I had from another damaged system was torn as well. Then I bent the upper receiver on the AR that I'm building. Luckily, PSA is goated, and I got a replacement for free. But then I scratched up the lower putting in the roll pin for the bolt catch, but I'm going to be painting this gun, so again, not a huge deal.

And finally, we come to tonight. I am working on my AR, trying to put my Atrius Super Selector in, and I dropped the one piece with the spring, AND THE SPRING GOT SENT TO THE EITHER, NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN!!! Mind you, my workshop is not that big, and it's carpeted. I was on my knees and my belly for a while looking for this damn spring. I even went across the carpet with a magnet and found nothing. I'm 90% sure it got yeeted down the heating vent in the hallway somehow. It is unfortunate that the good Lord did not answer my many prayers to help me find said spring, but ah well.

And finally, I bought an OG 3DS from Japan for like $70. Unfortunately, it doesn't work, and the local tech repair place wants $120 to fix it. So I pull a Thanos and decide I'll do it myself.... I can't get 3 screws out to open this bitch up. All my screwdrivers just go click, click, click like the screws are stripped.

I'm going to shower and go to bed and pray things are better for myself tomorrow. Pray for me, homies.☦️

Real talk how do you workout at home?

I know its kinda of a stupid question but like how do you workout at home i really only know doing pushups and situps and walking but there has to be better workouts. Reason i ask is because with my new job I'm sitting for 8 hours and I have to start exercising before my fat ass gets even fatter. Plus if i get strong enough I can practice the 1917 British bayonet training techniques with my lee Enfield 🙃

How do I get into designing my own 3d2a items?

Hello everyone, so I've been a bit of a lurker in the 3d2a space for a while. and while I have yet to print any of the designs that are out there, i am interested in the design process for them. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on where i could begin to learn to teach myself how to design/ make my own projects? as i have some (probably pretty stupid) but fun ideas that I think this subreddit would get a kick out of.

[Nintendo 2ds original]Im actually going to crash out

Because how tf did both ribbon cables fucking rip! I'm trying to repair a 2ds. I got one a decent price. It just had a broken touch screen at the bottom. I bought a new digitizer. I replaced it. I go to put the screen in and the ribbon cable was ripped. I have another one that I have for parts and that ribbon cable is fucking ripped. I'm actually going to crash out I was fine accidentally damaging the camera ribbon cable. That's cheap. These screens are 60 bucks. It's ridiculous. I can buy a parts one for for $35 but that's no guarantee that it has a working screen. I hate my life right now

Somehow I don't think this is covered by the warranty

I love PSA but somehow I don't think this will be covered by their warranty. I was trying to assemble a upper with a cmmg 5.7x28 barrel and a Yankee Hill machine Co barrel nut and handguard. Unfortunately for whatever reason I could not break the barrel nut from the receiver even though it was only set to 40 ft lb I had my dad help me break it loose in his vice in his garage but unfortunately the magazine well bent slightly. He did try to it hammer it back into place with a brass punch, but I don't believe it'll really function properly if anyone knows if I should use a different brand of upper besides Palmetto, let me know. I'm not sure if it was just an incompatibility somehow I doubt it but who knows anymore. Again, no diss to PSA. I love their products. Pretty much all my guns are PSA but I really want to build this and if that requires buying a different upper so be it

Now I'm trying to build an AR-15 in 5.7x28 And I bought a Yankee Hill machine Co handguard and I was attempting to put the barrel nut on but nothing seems to fit my armorer's ranch even begin to hardly line up with any of the gas part holes and my torque wrench doesn't seem to fit into my armorer's wrench because the square hole goes to is too big. Do I have to buy the stupid fucking Yankee Hill forearm wrench? I'd rather not drop 50 bucks on something like that this is my first AR-15 that I'm really building myself, not just putting together a lower parts kit and slapping on a upper so please cut me some slack

Hello everyone, so I'm going to be building a AR pistol in 5.7x28 with a cmmg 8-in barrel with there their bcg and a atrius forced reset selector and was wondering what buffer weight i would need to use for it to run smoothly and not have to much bolt bounce?
