Ive been getting a ton of questions about clamp on designs for silencers for all those guns out there that dont have threaded barrels. There are tons of cool silencer designs on the market but most of them rely on your factory barrel having 1/2-28 threads. Not eveyone has that but theres no reason that should stop you from owning a suppressor.

So heres what makes this one different, Its a really simple clamp on design anyone can easily modify in Tinkercad or Fusion by adding their barrel profile. It roughly based on the osprey design from silencerco but its designed to be printed at 45 degrees with no supports ( maybe a fin if people have issues printing at 45) Its overbuilt currently coming in at 250g of filament but Im not against making a lightweight version as well.

Its not sailing yet, but thats where I need yalls help, I want to add 5-10 common rifles muzzle profiles to the zip file for this silencer. If you have a rifle in 22lr that you think would look cool with this silencer or you dont have a threded barrel post exact measurements and well add it to the list. I already have it mocked up for a Ruger 1022

** EXACT Measurements matter, please measure the barrel diameter at the crown to the .0001 inch, then measure down the barrel by 2 inches exactly and take another measurement. Thats how well get the taper. If your rifle has a sight block lets measure that too how wid is the sight, how long is the sight and how tall is the sight and well get that in the top blocks as well.

Label your reply with the gun make/model its for and ill add it to the project file. Once i have 5-10 ill set it sailing.

Definitley need to work on this one, lol. Worked great on my .22, but the first shot of 9mm obliterated the printed part and struck the endcap. These things are a lot of fun to play around with though!

Printed clean af. This was my first time printing at a 45 degree angle too rails up for a pistol and wow the internals are baby butt smooth and clean. The rest too. I might reprint and lower my z distance for supports as the interface wasn't as good as I wanted. Although it won't effect the gun function it's just cosmetic. I decided to just print the stipple Titus and not the rising sun one that you see a lot. I think this 19 and 17 are some of the best looking Glock frames I could find. I had a hard time deciding which version of Glock I wanted to print. Anyone with other high quality recommendations please comment!!

Annealed at 200f for about 40 mins total (data sheet says 30 but I wasn't up to temp as I thought at first). Will moisture condition while waiting for parts.

Can't wait to get a parts kit for this thing. Will be my first Glock as I've never been someone to want a Glock over some other pistols I got first. Love the variety of 3d2a stuff!!

Added a FTN.5 Rimfire Slim with custom Voroni sleeve and FTN.6 Boosterless 9mm to go with the Q over the weekend. 9mm still needs the right adapter on it. Just started a printed piston one as well!

After a few failed prints with pet-gf I decided pla pro was it.. Squirting some mags for it now

Probably will go back to .6mm but wanted to try out .8mm for quicker prints.
8hrs including ez kak thread. Dried for 40 hrs at 60C since thats as high as i could go. 290C print and 100%infill.
This is not my first pa612 print and have never had any failures even in SS.
Total print is 184 grams (6.375 oz)

I always forget how clean PA6-Cf looks. I still wish I could figure out a way to minimize warping even more, the forward rails was a real pain to get those pins in.

Mixed results today, mainly due to my putting it together im sure. Couldn’t get it to cycle reliably whatsoever but didn’t test it much without the can.

Got my GP9 SA assembled, RXM version here. Was very simple to build. Small, lightweight and looks awesome too. Ordered a Parts kit from DB, shipping was fast and the kit was cheap. Ordered a metal charge handle seperate so I don’t have it yet, hence why not CH in the pictures. The HK push pin takedown implementation was brilliant and makes this thing feel very high quality.

So I got to shoot it today, shot like 5 or 6 mags through it, cause the sight wasn’t zero’d or I’d have done more. One of the slide-in tabs broke off at some point today. As well as part of the frame behind the rear rail broke off too. Other than that, worked perfect! Would love to try an FRT in this thing.

As a random aside, my Glock 19 mags with PMM extensions fit perfectly in the frame and don’t look too bad either, so I didn’t mess with printing any of the printed extensions.

Finished up the Nomad RXM build and it’s a beaut! I’m looking for a printable telescoping brace if anyone knows of any ongoing complete projects.

I know I post 2011 Maxxing propaganda weekly but it’s incredible. I wish Aves would get rails back in stock so I can make another. 21 rounds gone 😵‍💫

Finished this big fella up today. BCA-9 16” upper, Foaps HK Sights, MM Sauerkraut V2 Stock. I’m still wiping oil off that upper from the factory, dem boys like it lubed.
