Do you think Indian TV news media has become too biased toward the ruling party?

I'm curious to know what others think about this.

Recently, while watching a TV news debate, I noticed that the anchor seemed to interrupt the opposition spokesperson much more often, especially when they were criticizing the ruling party. At the same time, the anchor appeared more friendly toward the ruling party representative, often agreeing with their points, laughing with them, or helping reinforce their arguments with additional perspectives.

To be clear, this isn't about supporting the opposition or attacking the ruling party. My concern is about whether news anchors and media channels are remaining neutral, as journalism is supposed to hold all sides accountable.

Has anyone else noticed this trend, or am I overthinking it?

I would encourage people to watch a few debate shows with as little political bias as possible and focus only on the behavior of the anchor—who gets interrupted, who gets challenged, and who gets support. Do you think Indian TV news channels are still neutral, or have they become increasingly partisan?

Would love to hear different perspectives.
