Have we really learned nothing? Baseball has significant momentum (thanks to the pitch clock, Ohtani, WBC, and other things) but it appears like the owners are perfectly happy to stop that momentum dead in its tracks. Lockouts that cancel seasons (or the postseason) always dampen viewer interest and it’s far front guaranteed that baseball will come back and resume its forward progress.

This is why we need a Sports Czar.
