Last September, I lost my job and wasn't able to find another one until April. During those months without an income, I fell behind on my car payments. Even though I'm working again and doing everything I can to catch up, the amount I owe has become more than I can manage on my own.

This car means so much more to me than just a way to get from place to place. It's one of the last things I have that connects me to my mom, so the thought of losing it is heartbreaking, especially when I am so close to paying it off (Less than 5,000 left *including* the amount that I am behind)

Right now, every dollar raised will go directly toward my overdue car payments to help prevent repossession. If I lose my car, my fiancé will lose his ability to work and that is the main source of income we have as I work my way up in hours. Public transportation where we live isn't reliable, and rideshares like Uber or Lyft just aren't something we can afford. Losing this car could put us at risk of losing our home, and we'd be left with nowhere to turn.

Asking for help isn't easy, but I'm hoping my community can help me through this difficult time. Whether it's a donation or simply sharing my fundraiser, every bit of support means more than I can express. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any kindness you're able to offer.
