Wanted to make a draft for an upcoming idea for a drawing. I may have to revamp the little magical girl design I did (again). What’s next? Poofy sleeves? Poofy skirt? More bows? Four-Nines upgrade?!
Who knows? I’ll probably add a bit of color to her hair.

I was originally going to finish this in time for Visions’ 5th anniversary but it unfortunately took a bit longer than I expected, yet the best things come in wait.
This was actually drawn on the final page of my first big sketchbook (I have another one that I’ll use next time). The second image is a full-body concept of Forcelight’s final round outfits and I might leave it without color since the details are too small to color in, so the palette is up to speculation (though F’s details are gold while Kara’s silver).
I tried drawing most of the Visions characters in idol fits this time. If you’re wondering why Lah-botomy/Kara Bot isn’t in this, she’s currently recovering after being battered and fried by Karl. You should be glad that creature is tied up for his crimes.

I haven’t drawn anything in a long while, so about time I post something. Second photo is the reference I used, with the third one being what the mech itself looks like (the mech’s name is Sentinel No. 9 PERCIVAL).
Not much to say for this one. I might draw F again next time. (^｡^)

I’ve been thinking about the idea for two days now. Maid-pocalypse will never end lol. Tried to go all in on the mouse imagery. “But, Koni!! If there was a maid cafe in space, how many Kara Bots are needed for the job?” That’s easy to answer; There is more than one Lah-botomized Kara Bot. They‘ll keep infesting the entire galaxy, just like a mouse would. Jokes aside, she ended up cuter than I expected. I would like to have a little Kara Bot in my house now. o(^▽^)o
Updated the idol outfit she had in one of my last posts. Sorry if the details are hard to see, as the space I was drawing in was smaller this time around because I’m using a medium sized sketchbook. Sorry for no coloring either, same reason. (´⊙ω⊙`)
Anyways, DESIGN NOTES:
- Obviously based on the robes, but it’s vague even if you squint your eyes hard enough. I tried to make sure the skirt didn’t look too much like a tutu. Mission failed successfully.
- Same Four-Nines ribbon. Too many callbacks to that at this point.
- Dove wing earpieces recycled aswell. I just like seeing Kara with bird imagery, even in the slightest.
- About the poofy sleeves, I kinda scrolled down the internet for inspo. Also, semi-inspired(?) by Princess Knight. Idk, I’m just used to drawing unique-looking sleeves for cute outfits.
- Tried to keep the boots simple, added fluffy trim to it.
- If you’ve noticed, the ribbons have this half-circle cut. Lately, I’ve been thinking about her being compared to a mouse back in TNJ episode 1, and do you know what cliche type of food is often paired with mice in popular media: cheese. I didn’t want to add too many holes as it would ruin the entire design + don’t want to trigger trypophobia. Also, it kinda reminds me of the teeth of a key. *insert unnecessary Kingdom Hearts reference here.*
Hopefully I draw a much more clearer image of the design so I can color it. ( ；∀；) I think I should take a break from complex designs by drawing more Lah-botomy…

I've been a fan of Visions since 2022 and it was the main catalyst for how I got back to Star Wars in recent years. Not only did I love it because it coincided with my growing obsession with anime and anime-styled media, but it was also because of the artistic approach of the anthology series. I love this series with my whole heart and it's special to me.
Though recently, I've been seeing some posts on the subreddit discussing about how Visions straying away from canon wasn't a good thing or smth. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is just canon elitists who are upset that it intentionally strays away from the canon timeline. I understand how they feel, but at the same time, why bother watching it if you don't like non-canon media??? I mean, there's Legends but I barely touch it so I'm not gonna dive into that. So my controversial take on this: Just because it's non-canon, doesn't mean it's bad. Listen, I'm not saying criticism is bad, but most of the time, it's like they're missing the point of the series. Visions was created as a way to show how Star Wars can been seen in a different creative lens. They told Star Wars their own way with original characters in mind, even if some episodes have either shown or mention canon characters (ex. Tatooine Rhapsody, The Lost Ones). At the end of the day, it's just another Star Wars project. I just don't understand the unnecessary hate it's getting.
At this point, I think it's starting to become difficult for me to enjoy Star Wars Visions because of how some SW fans want to be salty about it now. I'm an artist, not professionally, and I resonate with the series as a whole because all the studios involved were creative on the episodes they're involved in and I stayed with it because of the various artstyles and characters. It's not hard to avoid watching it if it's not your cup of tea. It's a hidden gem imo and it is very beautiful, especially with the newly released Ninth Jedi anime.
If you don't like Visions, I don't mind. I just want to let out my personal opinions on all this. That's all I gotta say.

When I first watched Visions back in 2022, F was the first character I fell in love with. I really love her story and design. I just wish there was more of her. Considering she is one of the more popular characters in the anthology series (probably thanks to Volume 3, but that’s just me yapping), I hope a limited series based on those two episodes is possible. Kinda sad how we barely get merch or basically anything other than digital trading cards of her. I would accept any recognition for F. She’s just a cool character in general but it could go deeper. That’s why I love drawing her besides Kara. She’s got a special place in my heart.

It’s been a while since I drew idol arc stuff for visionscrew. Surprisingly, T0-B1 was pretty easy to draw (No complex design and all). Oh, and there’s more than one Karl. Just a tidbit for someone who loathes this anomaly… I’ve been meaning to draw more often after summer has ended. I really want to draw more F and Kara, my favorite sister pair hawawa!! (⌒▽⌒)
