The Belle Époque was in full force, fashion was actually original, electricity and bicycles had just arrived on homes before we knew the dangers they would bring, we didn't have any of these addictions the new gens have like movies and television, art was still beautiful... it was a truly amazing time, I miss the 1890s...

2019 is Zalpha

I was born December 31, 2019 and don't think I have anything in common with these Ipad kids born 2020 and after, I experienced the 2010s for 5 hours of my life so I pretty much had a gen z childhood, not to mention we were born before lockdown... I still remember being 2 months old and seeing how everyone around me was freaking out about covid, something 2020+ borns will never understand. So yeah, 2019 is really Zalpha if you think about it, we are the last of the elite, 2020+ is basically gen beta

Why the 2020s start in 2016

I stubbed my toe once that year, it hurt and felt really bad, and as we know bad = 2020s, so yeah I think we can all agree 2016 is the shift towards the 2020s

Shift Battle: May 1453 vs January 2025

May 1453 may be considered by some a big shift since that's when constantinople fell to the ottomans or some boring shit like that, I however think january 2025 was a far bigger shift since that's the transition from when the knee surgery meme died and was replaced by the property in egypt micro-era, setting the stage for the great meme drought of march 2025 and the eventual meme inflation of september 2025. That's much more significant than some random city falling.
