I'm interviewing with a startup for a role that's fully remote, and on east coast US hours. I figure this makes working from basically anywhere in Latin America super doable, as well as Western Europe to a lesser extent. However, I'm curious about how to make this work. Obviously there can be tax implications for the company, but if I'm just in these countries on tourist visas I'm not sure how it would come back to them. For those of you who have done digital nomad life but as a W2 employee as opposed to 1099, self employed, etc, what's the best way to make this work?
Just picked up the Hydroconquest. This is my first mechanical watch and it's pretty cool, but I'm definitely feeling weird about dropping $2200 on a watch. Does that go away?
