Hello. I was just story boarding a zutara getting cuddly and sexy story but then I realized that If I published it then wouldn’t I get copyrighted?

I was making it so I could publish it to pornhub for a way to make money but they’re copyrighted characters so I would get a cease and desist letter wouldn’t I? And I won’t be able to make money from it.

Would I be able to publish it on another platform for free but ask for tips? Or would that also be illegal?

Im sorry, I do not understand how copyright laws fully work. I know they tolerate fan art and fanfics but isn’t that cause the creators aren’t generally making money from that and If they are it’s a small exchange between individuals and not a large amount of people?

Where would my animation fall? If it’s free it’s okay ? Free but I ask for money, not okay?

Or if it costs money to view it then also not okay??
