....

How are you all doing? I am 18 years old. I developed myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) last year, and it has now been a year and a half since I fell ill. I would appreciate it if those who have recovered from this condition could share some advice. Is there a possibility of returning to a normal life? I wish you all good health and peace of mind.

} 17M - One year after myocarditis, improving recover

Hi everyone. I’m 17 years old and had myocarditis about one year ago.

My MRI showed clear improvement with regression of inflammation, and my echocardiogram now shows EF 64%. Today my cardiologist said things look good and reduced my Cardensiel dose from 5 mg daily to 2.5 mg in the morning only. Follow-up tests are planned in 6 months.

I still sometimes feel chest discomfort or small chest pains and I wanted to ask: did anyone here have a similar recovery? When were you able to return gradually to exercise and normal life? I hope anyone with a similar experience will share their insights, and I wish everyone a speedy recovery.
