New Students paying the old price instead of the new one.

I had a student who "favourited" my profile at my old price point. A few weeks later she booked a lesson with me. Where my price point is higher. But she still ended up paying the old price.

I thought it was a bug. But it happened today with another student. I had no idea that things work like this till now. This makes no sense.

Did it happen to any other tutors?

Hi Guys, I had a PayPal account linked to a foreign address (French), because I’m from Algeria and Algerian PayPal options are very limited. Recently, I sent three transactions of around €2,000 each (€6,000 total). After that, PayPal suddenly limited my account and marked the activity as “suspicious.”

They told me the limitation happened because the transactions were being made from Algeria while the account information/address was foreign. Now they say my funds are being held for 120 days before I can withdraw them.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Did you actually get your money back after the 120 days?

Also, what bank account or online banking solution can someone in Algeria realistically use to receive around €6,000 without getting suspended or blocked? I can’t really use a normal Algerian bank account for this situation. Thanks.
