Since this sub generally has some knowledgeable & experienced lurkers, Ill propose the question here in seeking interesting opinions.

The inevitable has reached me - a proposal to rent a studio in Berlin (acoustically viable, great sound although very small) to try myself out in making some interesting music & exploring myself artistically on a deeper level.

Im interested in hearing out similar experiences, do's & dougn'ts, success stories, what to look out for, ways to make this work & how it can fall apart (hear more of this than anything else)

Maybe some applyable wisdom will reach us.
