Having trouble getting my (f43) doctors to believe I’m perimenopausal and that estrogen would make my life better. I’ve lost jobs from the brain fog, I’ve ruined relationships with the anxiety and rage (plus a bazillion other signs with my hair, skin, eyes, menstrual cycle; it’s been a messy shit show for at least 5 years). The only thing I’m getting is more and more antidepressants. Which is turning my brain into a potato.

I FINALLY talked a doctor into at least giving me an estradiol test. Except that hormone can fluctuate wildly even over the course of a day.

What can I do to help my odds and make that number test low? Unfortunately I don’t think piss discs will help in this situation.
