Just got mine 2wks ago. Banding issues out of the box. Submitted a ticket with photos right away. First reply was a canned ""recalibrate and clean your heads"".

I explained I already did that. Second canned reply, same thing. Two days later I pushed back, they asked for a video. I sent it. Now it's been over a week and nothing.

The most frustrating part is going in circles. I gave them photos, then they wanted video, I sent video, now radio silence. No one's actually looking at what I sent. Just copy-paste responses and request after request for the same info I already provided.

Planning my second trip to Japan, and I want to sort out the charging kit before leaving. My Anker Universal Charger arrived today. I’m checking the input label and the laptop’s charging requirements together, rather than assuming the plug shape tells me everything.

Cable length is on the checklist too: a short USB-C cable may not reach comfortably from an outlet behind a ryokan desk to wherever I want to sit. I’m also considering a power bank for train journeys, so the plan doesn’t depend on an available outlet.

I’ll check what the charger and cable support before deciding whether to leave the stock laptop brick at home. I haven’t used the new charger in Japan yet.
