I have been drawing late at night lately after a long scroll session on Pinterest, or while talking with my best friends. However, I gotta be a bit more gentle with my drawing tablet, considering it is starting to kick the bucket. Hopefully, I can find an affordable tablet that is like my old one, or I can find the same model over on eBay for cheap. Either way, it ain't gonna stop me brainrotting over D and my Oc cause I have been writing more and more of my cringe fic, and a lot of art ideas I have for them are more about assessing their developing (possibly dangerous) dynamic together rather than external factors. I'd probably lore dump about it more if anyone asks, but aside from that, this art is gonna get done when it gets done. Pierre will be in the orb soon :P

Had a long day learning programming, but at least I can cool down with some art.

I hardly actually talk about Pierre's time in the Frontier, aside from the fact that he is being pursued by a vampire so far in the story. He managed to befriend a bunch of monsters who then somehow assumed he was a prince from vibes alone. Of course, he and D dunno why this is the case yet, but they might as well roll with it. It got them a bunch of good things so far, like free passage through some dangerous shortcuts and some supplies for the trip.

It's been way too hot out lately, so why not draw D and Pierre chilling out in their own respective ways? It is funny cause while I was sketching the second drawing, my friends were BEGGING me to add a seashell bra on D, so I last-minute scribbled it in.

Also, it was pretty hilarious explaining to non-VHD fans in some servers I am in how D needs to practically dig himself a grave whenever he is severely affected by the sun. 😭

It's no secret in a lot of my previous posts that I derive a lot of inspiration from Machine Girl! I've been listening to their music for some years now, especially whenever I either read the books or draw D. Right now, I am in a sort of weird art block where a lot of things I make just aren't coherent, but during a Discord call with my friends, they encouraged me to embrace the funk I am in, so I dived into drawing D as the WlfGrl album cover! Might as well combine two of my favorite things ever!

There are actually a few songs I would like to draw D in, like Batsu Forever, Splatter!, Black Glass, and Dual Wield, but that will probably be in the future.

Realistically, I think D wouldn't find a purpose in labeling himself as anything, considering how old he is, but I can't help but laugh at the thought of D just not elaborating on what flavor of trans he is if he were to come out. Is he a trans man? Trans woman? Enby? You won't know cause he will never elaborate.

Over at the Vampire Hunter D fandom, I've been experimenting with line art, trying to emulate the book art, and I've been having a blast. I felt like drawing Alucard for this experimental sketch while streaming on Twitch, yapping away with friends. I usually title my work, but this time I don't feel like it.
