Hello everyone,

The R2 will be the first EV in the family and I was hoping to get some information on the chargers/adapters worth buying or if it's better to buy others.

I am getting a 60A breaker wired in the garage and hard wiring a charger before I get my reservation later in the year. Is this the best way to go or should I put in a 220V outlet instead?

Is the Rivian $800 wall charger worth the cost or should I get an aftermarket option instead?

Same question, but for the travel charger.

What are the adapters needed for? I thought the R2 uses the same plug as Tesla, right?
