Trying to make a beating heart and don't know how to start
I'm working on an art project. I want to make a beating heart. It will be made out of silicone and hollow on the inside. My plan was to install some kind of motor that has a spinning arm that would smack against protrusions on the inside skin of the heart. I've been trying to watch videos about DC motors but I'm totally confused because every video seems to be further along than I am.
Can someone give me a basic breakdown of what I would need and how it's put together? Any beginner friendly video links would be incredibly appreciated. I'm not sure what speed I would need it to be and it needs to be small enough that it would fit inside the approximate size of a realistic human heart. I have zero coding experience but if it's needed I tend to be a pretty quick learner. I also don't know if battery or plug into the wall would be a better option.
