Hello, this is our itinerary for our Mauritius trip in July this year. We will be renting a car near the airport and plan to cover most of the trip by self-driving, approximately 900 km over 7 days. Is this something people generally do, or should we make some changes to the plan?

Also, we need suggestions on the following:

1. References for car rentals around the airport

2. Whether Ile aux Cerfs should be booked locally after reaching Mauritius or online through websites like GetYourGuide.
