My husband and I are traveling to Switzerland in early October and are planning to have Grindelwald be our base and just looking for some opinions on hotels. The main 2 I’m looking at are Hotel Glacier and the Bergwelt. I want to lean more towards hotel glacier but the only concern I have is the walk into town… says it’s about 10 minutes but looks mostly uphill. We’re young and in shape so not a huge concern but also curious if those who have stayed found it worth it or if you’d recommend the bergwelt instead. Open to other recs as well but I’ve probably looked at every hotel there so there’s a good chance ive already considered it lol. TIA!!
