Explain the plot of this world like I'm five
Okay, I've beat D:OSII once. I paid fairly close attention and understand the plot of that game. However, trying to glance through the plot of the other games on Wikipedia makes absolutely no sense.
This is a dumb line of questioning, but what is the plot of the series? Are sourcerers actually evil? What characters that we meet in D:OSII am I supposed to recognize? What role do organizations like the black ring and the god king play in other games?
Basically, how does it all fit together?
