Went on date with girl I hadn’t seen or talked to in 6 years….
So long story short, was up in NYC this weekend and didn’t have plans until Saturday morning, so my Friday was wide open.
I hit up this girl from college out of the blue asking if she wanted to grab drinks or dinner, and to my surprise, she replied and said yes. We get to texting the few days before we went out, and I find out she’s finishing up her masters this week - weird tangent but was kind of surprised she didn’t have any big plans for that.
Flash forward, we meet at some Mexican joint at 6, have a few drinks there. Going into it, I wouldn’t have been surprised if this was going to be a couple drink ordeal, but we ended up going to dinner after that, and then a rooftop bar after dinner. Honestly it was a really fun night from my perspective - we stayed out until 1 am, until the edibles we took got me into an anxious high and I got a little awkward lol. She could tell I was fading, and so she offered to come back with me but she had a long ride back herself, so I told her not to worry about it.
