Context:
Friend 40-M and his narc spouse 30-F. Friend -F, his brother -FB and I are all close friends who are married with kids except for F and his wife. We want to plan a guy's only trip to Northern CA. F lives in NC, FB lives in Northern CA, and I live in AZ. We just want to hangout and bond without her/ minimize the chances of her saying no with her toxic bs. The plane ticket, gas, food, etc will all be covered, so money is not the thing that will prevent him from being able to come. Previous reasons for not being able to come are because spouse is incapable of taking care of their dog, so we are gonna pay for a pet sitter while he is away. We miss him and want to help with his poor state of mental health and really think the trip will save his life.
Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated.
