Hi,
I've had a piercing bump on my nose stud (flatback labret) for over three months now. I suspect it formed due to sleeping on it and going to the sauna where it would heat up and get irritated. I've managed to heal it a lot with saline solution and basically treating it as though I've just gotten it and now it's barely noticeable unless you zoom in. Sometimes after my saline soaks I notice some white discharge seeping out and I remove it with disinfected tweezers. I'm just wondering if this is an indication of it draining and healing? I'm worried it'll never fully go away so any indication that it's actively healing would be a relief.
So to restate my question: Does white discharge after saline soaks mean that the piercing bump is draining and is removing it with tweezers the right thing to do?
