I’ll be starting a Master’s in AI at btu in the upcoming winter semester, and I’m currently trying to figure out accommodation.

I’m mainly looking for a 1-room apartment (or something similar), and I’ve seen options like Studentwerk dorms, T1, Prima, etc., but I’m a bit confused about how the application process works and what the best option is.

For those already studying at BTU:

• How did you find your accommodation?
• Is it better to apply through Studentwerk or go for private options like T1/Prima?
• Any tips on what I should do first or avoid?
