Question on how to approach--groomer cut my dog pretty badly and nails (Petco)

Let me open with I have a doodle, he was not matted (confirmed by Petco at drop off--they remarked on the shape of his coat, they always do, I brush all the time...), we are on a 4-6 week grooming schedule and he gets baths in between (by me at home). I do not care how he looks, but we are very active and I do need his groom to be practical for hiking (fur like velcro) and swimming (no swimmers tail allowed)

He is very well behaved at the groomer (told to me by 3 previous groomers, his first groomer from when he was a puppy to when he was 3 years old did an AMAZING job socializing him to grooming, plus home work) He has never nipped at a groomer, or at tools. I've explicitly asked to make sure he was safe to groom. We always go for a long walk/play session before a groom so he is not hyper and doesn't need to pee or poop.

I know grooming is hard, physically demanding work. I've done my very best to be responsible with a dog that requires regular grooming. Petco would not be my first choice but I had a terrible experience with my first groomer (...grooming is not doggy day care and my dog is not dog friendly, they lied about crating...all dogs were loose it was not okay, my dog was not okay...yeah that sucked) when I first moved, and I've not found another yet (this will probably prompt me to switch, but I've been really happy with my last 5 grooms with them).

Anyway, this past time I picked him up and pickup went crazy. They did not leash him, he ran through the salon area of petco and almost jumped the gate. I stopped him and got his leash on him...not a big deal, that happens, it was a bit unprofessional but whatever.

I get him home and I notice four things. He has a cut on his leg, not deep but long. Then additionally he has a cut on his stomach, not deep but long. Additionally, and less of a big deal but still annoying, they didn't dremel his nails (which I asked for and paid additional money for) and they didn't cut the fur on his tail at all...he is shaved at a 5f (not sure what this means in industry terms it's just what Petco calls it--its short) everywhere except his tail which is like 1/2 an inch long (how long it was when he went for grooming)

IF they had said anything about the nails, like he was acting badly for it so they just cut them, that would have been fine. They said nothing.

I'm not sure what to do. Part of me wants to call them and ask them to fix the tail and nails...part of me just wants to let it go and use this as motivation to find a new groomer. My husband is pissed and wants them to fully refund the groom. I do not want to get the groomer in trouble, although I do want them to potentially get more training, maybe they were having a bad day? Like I said in the beginning. Grooming is very hard. I also want to know if maybe they didn't dremel his nails cause he was being a problem for the Dremel, so I can work with him on it.

I can clip his tail (badly) and his nails will eventually file down smooth. I will just have to keep him from digging on the furniture until they smooth out. None of these things are the worst thing ever, I'm mostly upset about the cuts but they are superficial, I just worry they will make him aversive to grooming in the future. But there isn't anything they can do to fix superficial cuts.
