I bought a Blue Yeti in 2012 for a Youtube channel. I have since used it for Youtube, my normal PC microphone, and now my mic for Twitch Streaming the past 5 years. It isn't bad, however I need to get an Arm to bring it closer to my face (I see suggestions to have your mic about 6" away, mine is probably about 10-12" away). Between Voice Meter & Filters in OBS, I have been able to get my mic sounding pretty good. Not picking up a lot of outside noice, voice quality seems good. But I am sure it could be improved by investing in a new mic.

I was looking over the options, but I am very much out of my depths with it all. Ive heard about the Shure SM7B for years, but saw the price & hesitated. I wondered if I was better just getting a new Blue Yeti since I am used to them, which then made me question if they have even really changed over this period of 14 years. Appreciate any advice, thank you!
