iPod classic 5.5 30gb, the thin version. It’s in pretty good shape! Very minor issues - some screen discoloration and scratches but I’m planning to mod it eventually anyway so I’m not super concerned. Purchased from elite obsolete, my cord didn’t work but I’ve already reached out. Thankfully I had a spare original one from my nano.

Noticed some cracking on my tires - they’re about 3.5ish years old. We routinely drive longer trips in the summer (6-10 hours one way for weekend trips) so I’m trying to decide if it’s new tire time now or if it can wait until fall. What do yall think? Will these last another few months until September/October of driving long distance?

Hey y’all! Recently discovered my iPod nano 4th gen and charged it up and synced it. Works great except the battery life, but I was wondering - it’s like 18 years old now and I know the batteries can swell over time. I don’t see any marks on the screen but does this gap indicate swelling? I notice the wheel buttons have to be pressed a tad more than I remembered but it’s also been…like a decade or so since I last used it. Also, any tips on where to get a new battery to give it new life?
