Does orientation matter for spooling braid?
I do know that from the 1st image, line coming off of the spool has to be parallel or near parallel to the reel, and that the 1st image is preferable for monofilament because of line memory.
I want to know if, because there's basically no line memory for braid, the braided spool must be parallel to the reel, or it can be perpendicular to the reel like how it's shown in the second image?
Edit* I failed to clarify, but this question is mainly for spinning reels.
